Who can use the Site

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account without a parent's or guardian's permission.

Your account

You can create an account with your email address or by signing in with Google or another social account we offer. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Please give accurate information and let us know at support@mysecretcuisine.com if you think your account has been used without your permission. You can stop using the Site or ask us to delete your account at any time.

Our content

The recipes, text, photos, videos, graphics, logos and design of the Site are owned by My Secret Cuisine or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print and save recipes for your own personal, non-commercial use. Feel free to share links to our pages and to use one photo with a clear credit and a link back to the original recipe. You may not otherwise copy, republish, sell or distribute our content, including full recipes or photos, or use automated tools to scrape the Site or to train artificial intelligence models, without our written permission.

Content you post

When you post comments, ratings, reviews, photos or other content ("User Content"), you keep ownership of it, but you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, adapt and distribute it on and in connection with the Site and our social media and newsletters. You confirm that you have the right to post your User Content and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, misleading, or spam; that infringes someone else's rights; or that contains personal information about others without their permission. We may review, edit, hide or remove any User Content, and suspend or close accounts, at our discretion.

Recipes, cooking and health

Advertising and affiliate links

The Site shows advertising and may include affiliate links. If you buy a product through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for the products, services, websites or content of advertisers or other third parties.

Emails, notifications and text messages

If you sign up for our newsletter, browser notifications or text messages, you agree to receive them. You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, turn off notifications in your browser, and reply STOP to stop text messages (HELP for help). Message and data rates may apply. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email support@mysecretcuisine.com with a description of the work, the location of the material on the Site, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your physical or electronic signature. Prohibited uses

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by interfering with its operation or security, trying to access accounts or systems without permission, sending spam, uploading malware, scraping or bulk-downloading content, or using the Site in violation of any law.

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY SECRET CUISINE AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS, ILLNESS OR INJURY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR FROM PREPARING OR EATING ANY RECIPE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless My Secret Cuisine from any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.

Changes and termination

We may change the Site or these Terms at any time. When that happens, updated Terms will appear here with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Site means you accept them. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms.
