Tips for a great recipe

Use natural light for your photo, shot from the side or straight down.
Keep amounts and units separate (2 · cups · flour) so readers can scale servings.
One action per step, with temperatures and how to tell it's done.
Tell your story. Where the dish comes from makes your recipe stand out in search.
Add section headings like "For the sauce" when a recipe has parts.

Adding a video

Your video stays on YouTube, Vimeo or Cloudflare Stream; just paste the link. We show it on your recipe and tell Google about it.

Self-hosting? A direct https link to an .mp4 (for example from Cloudflare R2) works too.

What happens next

We review every recipe, usually within a couple of days.
